Mother-father-child house PaNaMa in Wipperfürth

The funding was used to support kitchen equipment and play and support materials for the PaNaMa house.

Project description

Full-stationary facility for seven mothers/fathers with their children

PaNaMa means „Papa - Nachwuchs (= offspring) - Mama" and is based on the classic children's book „Oh wie schön ist Panama" by Janosch. The institution of the Die Gute Hand Foundation is a branch of the Haus Nazareth youth welfare institution in Leverkusen.

House PaNaMa is a full-inpatient facility for pregnant women and young mothers and fathers aged 14 and over who, due to social, emotional, family and/or other stressful life circumstances, still require (intensive) accompaniment and support in the care, nurturing and upbringing of their child(ren). The aim is to help these young mothers and fathers to lead an autonomous life, in the best interest of their child/children.

The Hans Hermann Voss Foundation has funded the kitchen equipment in the mother-father-child house as well as the purchase of play and support material.
