Vocational orientation training for young people
With the so-called "Talenthaus", the technical center Minden-Lübbecke e. V. has launched a useful career orientation project, which has been tried and tested in the East Westphalia-Lippe region. The Talenthaus has been set up in a stationary and a mobile version. In the mobile model, stations are set up in schools where young people can use materials, tools or objects from different occupational fields. Youngsters can test themselves on the offered stations in a rotation system. With these different practical training modules under professional supervision in the ratio of 1:10, the young people are introduced to professional activities from everyday business life.
The Hans Hermann Voss-Stiftung supported this project for students of seventh grade in secondary school in the district Oberbergischer Kreis.
